WORK IN PROGRESS "FIRE ISLAND I thought I would try to get something in to "Arts for the Parks" this year. After last year's terrible fire season, I figured this would be very appropriate.   I started off with the one on the left to try and get the basic idea. Then after seeing a few compositional problems, I briefly did the next one on a small piece of canvas just to see how I'd like it. Finally, I'm now started on the actual painting (below), but running out of time. |
